Breeze -The Road to Surfdom was the first exhibition at rrealartt. It was an EP launch of the surf-rock band Breeze.

From the peak of Mont Pèlerin you can check the swell, while the nor’easter howls onshore at the end of history. Breeze reflectS upon popular representations of middle-class suburban life on the coast of New South Wales, Australia, Breeze takes the form of a soft-rock band that’s committed to the question of freedom. In the wake of 2020’s global economic upheaval, hostilities emerged around the uncertain status of individual liberties, while in the meantime, Australians were segmented into crisp economic categories: you’re either a JobSeeker, JobKeeper, or JobMaker. Produced during the teething phase of the new-same future pre-eminently called ‘COVID-normal’ the artists Nic and Will present “The Road to Surfdom”— a playfully nihilistic pop art venture that forms a considered fragment of neoliberal realism.
